Who we are
Robert Scotts Commerce LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 14252682, registered office Unit 2 Forty Acres, Coombe Road, Petersfield, GU32 1PP. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
When you use the stock valuation form we collect your name, your email address, the volume of stock you selected and whatever you write in the description. If you message us on WhatsApp or by email we hold that conversation. Our hosting keeps standard server logs, and we measure page traffic without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, to value your stock and to take the steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. We do not sell your details and we do not add you to a marketing list from this form.
Who else sees it
Two suppliers process data on our behalf. Vercel hosts this website and Resend delivers the enquiry email and your confirmation. Both act on our instructions only. We will disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as we are in contact about your stock, and afterwards only for as long as we need it for our records and legal obligations. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us holding it. Email admin@robertscotts.com and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
